  I often wondered what would I want to become when I grew up. This answer kept changing constantly until when I finished my graduation. At that point I was sure I wanted to go into the Oldest human profession and my career started evolving since then. Wait, Hold your horses… It is not what you think. Banish your nasty thoughts. The oldest Profession that the world has seen is Tool Design and Manufacture. Human Evolution took a decisive step when our ancestors evolved into two legged Humanoids and thereby left their two hands free to do something that improved our life. Last 2 Million Years transformed us. All from a simple Ape like creature that fashioned a rough Hammer for Hunting and slowly the history took a decisive turn. This brought us to the fore front of the Food chain and made us cross the frontiers in space. What comes to your mind when you think of the first travelogue you have ever read? For me, it was a lot of condescension, and a display of superiority which now I think as Naivety and bluster, fit to impress only an innocent 5 year old, whom I was then. My first experience of reading Travelogues was at that early age in my mother tongue Tamil. Written by some of the popular writers of those times who always bragged about their visits to Europe and the West, in an effort to impress the masses who did not have means to travel themselves. Later years, as I grew up and started travelling to all those places, I realised how shallow their narratives were. By then, my reading had expanded into much deeper subjects and I wanted to see more from a travelogue. As a child I used to wet the bed at night - especially on those days I used to watch scary movies. I distinctly remember a black and white English movie that I was extremely disturbed. This was a movie in which normal people are shown to lose their mind suddenly and are driven to murder someone without realising what they are doing. After the incident, they seemed to have no recollection of it at all. It is later revealed that a villain is responsible for their behaviour. He would hypnotise the victims and drill the murder instruction into their subconscious mind. He would then give them a signal to trigger the action at a particular time of his choosing. There were different signals for different victims. Although there are always such mystery stories that captivate the mind, often real life events seem much more dramatic and impactful.
